Back in Training
Well, I am back in my training community for more training. I came in last Monday in order to watch UT play OSU with spanish commentary...no complaints here. It was a great game...probably a little too good. But, glad we won. I spent the rest of the week doing more language training which was really really good. I finished pretty much re-learning all the basic grammar and feel really good about how I am doing.
This weekend, my youth development group visited a factory of a company based out of Oregon that sells stoves which are more efficient and gets rid of the smoke that contributes to the exorbitantly high cases of upper respiratory problems. Many PCV's sell these in their communities. Until I visited the factory I said hell no but after I am convinced it is a worthy project. I'll be typing more on this later....
Afterward, we stayed at a gorgeous little hotel in a very touristy part of El Salvador-- Ruta de Flores. We also visited a famous little town called Juayua. They have a great little food festival every weekend and amazing waterfalls to swim in right outside of the town. It was huge and I took LOTS of pictures...BUT I forgot my cord so I won't be able to upload them until after I get back home to my NEW HOUSE! Yes, I moved into my own place that is VERy nice for El Salvador and has a giant patio where I will be planting a wonderful garden.
Pics soon!
