Preempting Ike and Other getting ready stuff
Well, today officially ended my good-bye tour. I saw many people and though I certainly did not get to see everyone, I am confident that two years will fly by and I'll be back before I know it.
As I have told a few people, getting ready for this move has felt like a part-time job. Its been about a million errands and to top it off Ike decided it wants to hit Texas so everyone and their brother had me worrying about my flight out of San Antonio. So, to avoid delays or cancellations I am flying out a day early. Thankfully, I have been packed for a week and all of my friends and family have been accommodating enough to make the adjustment not so stressful. Still, I feel like I haven't had a good nights sleep in years...
Tomorrow I officially leave Texas for 27 months. I really will miss Austin. Being here for just the short time that I was, I remembered why I love this place- the people are amazing, the food is great, and the vibe it gives off is unlike any other city.
So, adios Texas. Hola, El Salvador.
