Quarterlife Crisis, What 90% of Unmarried PCVs suffer from
It is not the most comfortable thing to admit but I would say I suffer a version of this so-called quarterlife crisis. Though I am not terrified of settling down(as one symptom seems to be), I just have little desire to be in Texas until I have to be (husband, kids, work, etc). I am going to be there presumably for the REST OF MY LIFE. I figure spending a few years outside of it can only help me.
I would say that the article is right about this generation being more vagrant than past ones. I would also say that at least 90% of unmarried volunteers experience this feeling of the chains of adulthood coming over them and that's why they join. I think its safe to say I am one of them. I am not afraid of being an adult and having responsibilities. I just think they will find me when the time is right.
