October Recap
Well, I had a very busy month but probably my best month so far in my service. They say that the first year is the hardest and that after the year mark stuff really picks up, projects get going, and time flies. Well, maybe it is true because October was filled with good stuff like that. I'll do a quick breakdown:
-Planted 25 trees with the church youth group
-women vs girls sofbol game
-took my english kids to an english show at the hs that has an english program (lots of english!)
-finished my english classes (dang my kids are impressive!)
-launched a stove project which will sell hopefully hundreds of efficient stoves that emit less smoke (less respiratory diseases) and uses less wood (less deforestation)
-had a self-defense class for my sofbol girls and traveled to an out-of-site game where we got our booties kicked!
-scored 3 goals in 3 games with my soccer team
-Hopefully finished my computer projects (still waiting to see my final numbers!)
-and, wrote grants for a sewing project and sofbol project!
Busy busy busy.
And now I start off November with a body full of chigger bites! Fun!! Not really, its terrible.
