Thoughts on my assignment and the chaos that is moving and packing

So, I nearly had a breakdown last night. It was brought on by the many many boxes scattered around my room and the fear that I wouldn't be able to pack in time. Then, I decided to print out my Peace Corps packing list. This sent me over the edge. Not only am I having to pack for home but also trying to be methodical enough to ensure packing for Peace Corps doesn't have me rummaging throught the 15 boxes I am mailing to various locations (mamo's, dad's, sarah's, mom's).

It is hard to be overly excited when I have all of this on my mind but nonetheless I am looking forward to the journey. I was very excited that I got exactly what I wanted in a country- spanish speaking, central america, beach. On top of that, I lucked out with American currency, American outlets, and umm...lots of other benefits.

After reading the pamphlet from my new supervisor in El Salvador, I was even more excited. They have clearly outlined project goals, all of which I have at least some experience with.

So far, so good.
