I know, I know its not quite my birthday but I like my birthday to encompass at least 2-3 days and end with the actual day- June 1st. This year we were on target to do just that. Today, we'd get ready and tomorrow morning we'd leave for the beach, eat our favorite pizza, then head to the Capital and eat a yummy Italian dinner. Instead, one tropical depression backed into another one and now bridges around the country are knocked out making travel anywhere impossible.
I know. I am being selfish. It's just that I built this up so much after the terrible birthday I had last year (someone put a snake with it's head chopped off in my sink in my backyard in the middle of the night.)
Oh well, I know we'll have just as much fun days later (if that is even possible because of road conditions) but it's not my birthday. I know I sound like 10 year old but it's my birthday and I'll cry if I want to.
